Blogger or Blogspot is how I started in blogging. I found the layout clear and easy to use. Being owned by Google it is so user friendly and has a simple drag and drop system for your blog layout. I have moved to Wordpress now, but the one you choose is down to your requirements really. Got a blog on Blogspot? Any questions, tips, tricks to share? Perhaps you are looking for advice on which design is best or how to add banners.... (years ago, I spent 8 hours trying to add one banner without help! No, I wasn't very technical lol) Chat about it right here! xxx
I use Blogger and absolutely love the way its set out, I have adapted mine so much now its completely different to how it was original;ly, with a little PC know how you can make a blogsite look incredible. if anyone has any questions just ask and Ill try and help!
Thanks MB! I do like the way Blogger has the drag and drop components for the widget boxes too. It's a nice blog style to build upon.
I agree its a great starter for those not completely PC oh fait and then as you get more experienced you can make it yours!
Howdy, I post in the fullest of respect, I have loads of thoughts in a wide lateral of subjects, some fiction, most based on facts thought out, and well pondered...... as I sit at my keyboard, and face my monitor, I find myself short of thought, and lacking anything at all to write down, much the same as before my computer, sitting at my desk, with a piece of paper in my typewriter...... always nothing..... unless its a letter to the County government, or state...... I guess the best outlet for what flows through my thoughts is a piece of fiction, the movie " Brain Storm " had a device that could not only record thoughts, and memory, but all the senses as well, sight, sound, touch, smells, temperatures, and bodily functions of exticy, and pain, fear, and intrigue, and fully playable in the mind of another...... that would do it alright....... fiction.....
Not sure about the machine, would be fun! But I usually sit and try and gather thoughts that have been rushing about and translate them to words that make sense in a written form x
I am a total nightmare when it comes to even simple things. Tried to mess about with my blog one day and I don't know if I just made it look untidy and worse so I have just left it for now. Any hints and tips are most welcome. A noob guide to the most simple things!
JoJo - I notice in your latest review, the images aren't linked through to a product and the text Lovehoney isn't affiliate linked either? Only your banner at the end is. Don't know if these were just missed or if you're not sure how to Give me a shout either way! x

I like the layout and the menu etc on your blog, it's more user friendly. Is that a template on blogger, already?
Thanks hun, yes its the photographic template and I used my stars image then just added the html/blogroll/recent posts/comments widgets to the sides, some of the widgets Ive used and adapted to put in what I wanted to. I found its simple things like macthing colour of text to the images and background and its will blend itself together. Just ask if I can help with anything hun.x
I have used both wordpress and blogger but found that weebly suits me perfectly. I wanted a blog which was more like a site but had a blog function as well. I hope that makes sense. It's easily customisable and you can easily create new pages and sections which is what I wanted. I found that my blog always looked 'messy'.
We use blogger, did a bit of research before we set up, but kind of regretting it now slightly. Maybe. Seemed easier to use, and didn't really expect that anyone would actually look at our blog to be honest! That blogspot in our name is causing me physical pain every time I look at it now though, and the adult portal page does my head in. Still, pretty user-friendly for amateurs like us, and we can always do something about it in the future. Alex.
